Ha Noi, Dec. 8 (VNA) -- * VietsovPetro to Pump 12.6 Million Tonnes of Crude Oil
The Viet Nam-Russia Petroleum Joint Venture Enterprise (VietsovPetro) is expected to pump 12.6 million tonnes of crude oil and bring ashore 1.6 billion cubic metres of gas this year.
Up to early December, the enterprise tapped 11.575 million tonnes of crude oil and brought ashore over 1.447 billion cu.m. of gas. It pumped an average of 39,000 tonnes of oil and brought ashore 4.5 million cu.m. of gas a day.
Viet Nam plans to pump 17 million tonnes of crude oil and bring ashore 1.7 billion cu. m. of gas this year.
* New Oil Tanker Launched by VietsovPetro
A 154,000-tonne oil tanker has been launched by VietsovPetro with the aim of increasing its oil exploitation.
The oil tanker, which was built by Japanese Modec. Inc at a cost of USD 83 million, has a capacity of 172,700 cu. m. or equivalent to 145,000 tonnes of crude oil.--VNA
